We've never entertained the Crown Heads of Europe.....but we'll gladly entertain you! Ladies and Gentlemen...........Meet Miss Calliope Pumpkin!Miss Calliope Pumpkin ran away to join the circus when she was just a wee gourd and she hasn't looked back since! Miss Calliope loves the circus.......can't you tell? (Trust me...she loves it!) She always says there's nothing like the smell of fresh elephant poo, popcorn and cotton candy in the morning to get ones senses fired up! Miss Calliope is an Enchanted Productions Original One of a Kind and will not be reproduced. She will arrive at your home signed, dated and smelling wonderful....along with her Certificate of Authenticity and a copy of the story which appears in this auction. She measures approximately 19 inches tall.Miss Calliope is sewn of painted and aged muslin, features the Enchanted Productions 3-D eyes and hand painted facial features and clown make-up. Her big ol' noggin is topped off with a tiny vintage tea cup and saucer hat and black tulle bow. This tiny tea cup and saucer was a wonderful find and is hand painted with the images of an orange and white poppy. On the underside of the saucer has a tiny sticker which says: A Napco Ceramic - Japan. Also printed on the bottom of the saucer are the words August and Poppy. The tea cup and saucer are permanently attached to Miss Calliope.Miss Calliope's bodice and skirt are sewn of black crushed velvet with black and white striped cotton sleeves. Her dress features three ivory tulle pompoms down the front and is trimmed along the bottom with vintage ivory lace. Her pointy underskirt is sewn of 4 layers of ivory tulle.
